Our goal is to give you peace of mind and a joyful adoption experience — knowing that your puppy’s health is in excellent hands.

🐾 2-Years Genetic Health Guarantee

We proudly offer a 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee against life-threatening congenital and hereditary conditions. This covers serious issues such as:

  • Congenital heart defects

  • Liver shunts

  • Kidney malformations

  • Severe hip dysplasia (diagnosed by OFA or equivalent vet opinion)

  • Other life-impacting genetic disorders

Should your puppy be diagnosed with a qualifying genetic condition within the first year, we will work closely with you to find the best possible resolution — including offering a replacement puppy when appropriate.

✅ All health guarantees require a licensed veterinary exam within 72 hours of receiving your puppy to activate coverage.

🩺 Health Screening & Vet Protocols

Before going to their forever homes, every puppy from Amy’s Golden Doodles receives:

  • A full veterinary health exam

  • Up-to-date vaccinations and deworming treatments

  • A Health Certificate (for shipped puppies)

  • Preventative care according to age and breed recommendations

We also begin early socialization, crate introduction, and exposure to common household sounds and routines to give your puppy the healthiest emotional and physical start in life.

All of our parent dogs are carefully selected for their outstanding temperament and are screened for:

  • Hip & elbow health (OFA or PennHIP)

  • Eyes (CERF/CAER-certified)

  • Heart

  • Common Golden Retriever & Poodle genetic conditions (via DNA panel)

Breeding only from health-tested, quality parents gives our puppies the strongest foundation possible.

📋 Buyer Responsibilities

To maintain your puppy’s health and the validity of this guarantee, we ask that you:

  • Schedule a vet check within 72 hours of receiving your puppy

  • Keep up with regular vet visits, vaccinations, and preventative care

  • Feed a high-quality diet and avoid unsafe activities (like over-exercising young joints)

We encourage an open line of communication — we’re always here for advice, support, or to answer questions even after your pup is home.
